Nice and light and easy to handle. Much less messy and noisy than a petrol equivalent. Cuts well enough and very easy to assemble and start using.

The single worst thing is the battery. Not sure if its faulty or just bad, but my battery is terrible. I can make about 40 relatively small cuts on medium density wood and the battery is dead. I forget what B&D quote in the manual but its a heck of a lot more cuts than that. So whilst i'm pretty happy with everything else, if the battery is bad it makes using it such a chore, hence the big mark down on the ratings.
Other than that, with the saw being lightweight it can sometimes bounce around a bit on cuts in tougher wood.
