Switchable exhaust direction
Kit case is poorly designed for stowage of the small parts they just rattle around in the moulding which has to be cut into to get them out, case design seems to be for the planet not all the accessories.

I had only used the planer twice to put an arris on softwood framing for a small pergola. The planer had been in use for less than 2 hours in total (not continuously) when the motor starting sparking and then stopped. As I had purchased the planer more than 1 month prior to using it the warranty applies but there are no local service centres, the nearest being well over 20 miles away.
